Request Path
Metricanic is offered as a public paid beta. Beta features may change, have limited support or SLA commitments, and may be unavailable or incomplete. No production-grade SLA applies unless separately agreed in writing. Some integrations or advanced features may require configuration, approval, or plan eligibility. Submit privacy and data deletion requests to [email protected] or [email protected]. Requests can be submitted without creating an account unless the request requires account-specific authentication to protect the requester or another person.
Deletion is request-based unless a specific product workflow states otherwise. Metricanic will review each request based on the data involved, the customer's role, legal requirements, security requirements, provider constraints, and available technical controls.
Request Types
- Access or export.
- Deletion.
- Correction.
- Opt-out or Do Not Sell or Share.
- Revocation or disconnection of integrations.
- For California / CPRA privacy choices and no-account Do Not Sell or Share requests, use https://metricanic.com/privacy-choices.
Account Data vs Visitor Tracking Data
Metricanic account data requests are handled by Metricanic. This includes account, authentication, billing, support, product security, subscription administration, and legal compliance data that Metricanic controls.
End-user visitor tracking requests are usually routed to the relevant customer or processed by Metricanic on that customer's documented instruction because the customer is typically the controller or business for campaign, tracking, attribution, reporting, and postback data.
Identity Verification and Timing
Metricanic may need to verify your identity and authority before processing access, deletion, correction, export, or integration revocation requests. Verification steps depend on the request, the data involved, and applicable law.
For Do Not Sell or Share opt-out requests, Metricanic uses minimal verification and does not require account login. Metricanic may ask only for information needed to identify the relevant account, visitor identifier, customer, or data relationship and to avoid applying the request to the wrong person.
Deletion Limitations
- Billing, legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, product security, subscription administration, or audit records may need to be retained.
- Backups, logs, caches, and disaster recovery copies may be handled through operational retention processes and may not be deleted immediately.
- Aggregated or anonymized data may remain if it no longer identifies a person.
- Retention may be required to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect the service.
- Metricanic may require customer instruction where it is only a processor or service provider for customer-controlled tracking data.
Helpful Identifiers
For customer-assisted deletion of tracking data, include as many relevant identifiers as feasible, such as tenant ID, user ID, visit ID, click ID, external ID, or token/subid values. Do not send sensitive personal information in request details unless Metricanic specifically asks for it as part of a secure verification flow.
